Initial Course Listings for Fall 2005

Classes for Fall 2005 are scheduled to begin on the week of September 19th, and go for eight to ten weeks (unless otherwise specified). Due to any unforseen circumstances, some may start a week or two later. You can view detailed outlines for courses by following their link.

Unless stated otherwise in the class outline, feel free to start classes which have already been running a few weeks. Or show up to any or all classes in a specific course.

  • Black to the Land is a practical course about building a new society from the ground up. Communities in rural settings can be a basis for practicing anarchism on a permanent basis. Participants in this course will discuss problems and the prospects of this ongoing movement with folks who are experienced in it.

• THE POLITICS OF CO-OPS
  • Monday nights at 8pm
  • Hosted by: 429 Brunswick Ave (Toad Lane) - part of Campus Co-op (http://www.campus-coop.org)
  • All welcome! GLBT positive space.
  • We hope to explore different forms of co-operatives, their history and development, and the role they play in today's society.

  • This class is an experimental reading of social anthropology and its overlap with anarchist perspectives and practice. By re- contextualizing traditional ethnography we hope to initiate a dialogue about alternative ways of relating to one another during and after the revolution...conversation, text, and video...your energy?
