- Report on Principles Working Committee Subgroup meetings.
The meeting started off nicely everybody was in a good mood, nice sunny day. Rob came in quickly to tell us he was in another meeting in the same building about age of consent issues and left. More and more people started finally linearly vs. time throughout the meeting. Christian started reporting on current results from Principles committee meetings which included ideas on Anarchist History Workshops. Rachel Melis brought rotating out of her post as administrator of info"cirle-with-an a"anarchistu.org and Christian and Angel agreed that they may take over the position jointly. Christian further mentioned stuff about open calls and audits. Upcomming TSCI (Toronto School of Creativity and Innovation(?)) events were discussed including an offer for the AFU to speak at one comming up 2 weeks hence on "designing a better toronto"/"Abandonment issues"/"Reimagining the City" or something to that effect; challenges in organizing that the AFU faces, different ways to talk about the process. Also discussed how to get on the TSCI's mailing list and the fact that they may have some sort of blog something or other. Christian and Rachel G agreed to jointly present at the event and hold a pre-meeting something or other to discuss strategy. Another question was whether the TSCI panel was open or closed to panelists. Angel brought up a wiki workshop to teach anarchistu.org wiki editing for anyone who may be having problems editing the website. Mike, a newcomer to the AFU GM brought up name change and was against it.
End.
