Barriers to Participation for Visioning
- one person expressed a feeling of alienation with regards to getting involved with the visioning planning committee
- there was a general discussion of how to deal with these issues vis-a-vis the visioning meeting and afu process in general
- this was generally fruitful and we decided to be sensitive to this and confront it at the visioning as well

VisioningMeetingSchedule for more details
- Lunch has officially been changed to 45 minutes
- Ryan is m/c and break nazi. He will have a stopwatch with him at all times.
- Rachel M. will take minutes for the first session and Ryan will find minute takers for sessions 2-4
Session 1: History
Rachel M has invited Louis and Allan to particpate, will coordinate with Enda who is facilitating the panel, people thought Christian might participate
Session 2: Present
Rachel G and Mike were thinking that we should start out with why people are involved, get people talking about what their favourite thing is, what's currently being done, and what they're here to hopefully weave in to the AFU... they're also going to be cheerleaders and try and get people excited about the day, an ice-breaker
Session 3: Anti-oppression/diversity
Christian will get in touch with sharmeen and ask her for a draft of what she plans to do for her session
Session 4: Future
The idea so far is to develop an agenda organically as the day happens; ideally some decisions will be made during the session (shooting for 2); will mention at the beginning that we're working on consensus; we're going to be putting off decisions on a
unity statement. Rachel G suggested that what we should be doing is locating problems and then create working groups to address the issues with the hope that these groups would be able to report back their findings within a set period of time.
