Insane Religion Explained

A 6-week crash course on the NEW TESTAMENT for people who've never read it and don't want to.

  • Where: THIS AIN'T THE ROSEDALE LIBRARY (483 Church Street?, south of Wellesley, north of Maitland )
  • When: MONDAY NIGHTS 7 TO 9PM
  • Starts: MON JAN 30 -- ENDS MON MARCH 6
  • Materials: Go to a used bookshop, religion section, and buy a cheap Bible (don't spend more than a few bucks)
  • Discussion: Will Be Encouraged
  • Facilitator: Tony Malone, author of The Bible For People Who Hate The Bible

Week 1

Introduction to the New Testament:

  • Did Jesus exist?
  • How Christianity is a big mistake.

Week 2

A look at Jesus through the gospel of Mark

Week 3

The rest of Jesus through the gospel of Mark

Week 4

Gentiles modify Mark's gospel, to meet their own needs. Why?

Week 5

The maniac known as "Saint" Paul and his letters --the other letters

Week 6

Revelation.


The First Semester covered the Old Testament. This class is part of the Anarchist-Free-University's 2005-2006 agenda, in co-operation with This Ain't The Rosedale Library
